Meredith Jannusch of Mystic submitted a photo of her family’s homemade hideaway, constructed during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
She said her husband, Doug, started building a playhouse for their 7-year-old twins, Andy and Arianna, in June after they had been in quarantine since March.
“The tiny home-away-from-home, dubbed ‘The Nut Hut’ upon completion in October, has become a cherished getaway,” she said.
