Back candidates who oppose Oral School plan

This letter is in support of all the Groton Town Council candidates publicly opposed to the Mystic Oral School Mega Development. They are: Diane Barber, Portia Borderlon, Robert Boris, Kathy Chase, John Scott, Scott Westervelt and Jenn White.

The Mystic Oral School Mega Development is not good for the community, the Town or the State. The Town Council and Town Staff must be transparent and move projects forward that the community supports.

I hope Groton voters will consider supporting these candidates on November 2, 2021. Please remember that just because you can vote for nine candidates does not mean you must.

It is important to support candidates that support you and that do not support the Mystic Oral School Mega Development.

I also would like to highlight my support for newcomer Scott Westervelt. Scott has shown during the past year to be a leader in the community as a co-founder and Chairman of MOSA (Mystic Oral School Advocates). Scott is a long-time resident, has raised his family in Groton, and cares about the Town.

After Groton voters research the candidates, it will be evident that candidates that oppose the Mystic Oral School Mega Development are advocates for the residents of the Town and deserve the support of the voters.
