    Appreciating the Earth and its creatures at UConn Avery Point

    Groton ― The UConn Avery Point EchoHusky Club hosted an Earth Day celebration Wednesday on the campus green.

    During the event there was a team of oxen, a marine animal touch tank, and informational booths on composting, oyster shell recycling to build oyster reefs and other subjects.
