Yes, if poets had literary passports, Caitlin Doyle's is well and impressively stamped.

Doyle, who is the current writer-in-residence at the James Merrill House in Stonington, has also served as teacher- or writer-in-residence at the Jack Kerouac House and the St. Alban's School. She's also held residency fellowships at the MacDowell Colony and the Jentel Foundation, and won a Tennessee Williams Scholarship at the Sewannee Writers' Conference.

Doyle welcomes visitors to her current domain Saturday when she gives a public reading of her work. Her publishing history includes pieces in The Atlantic, The Boston Review, The Threepenny Review, Black Warrior Review,  and the Best New Poets 2009.

It's worth noting that the apartment is on the third floor and there's no elevator, so it's not wheelchair accessible.
