Mystic restaurant to donate 20 percent of sales to state veterans department
Mystic — S&P Oyster Restaurant and Bar on Holmes Street will continue its tradition of supporting local veterans by donating 20 percent of its revenue on Nov. 11 to the state Department of Veterans Affairs.
“We are thrilled to continue our tradition of donating a percentage of our Veteran’s Day revenue to our veterans! Many of our friends and staff have served in the armed forces, and I think one of the best ways we can show our gratitude to our past and present servicemen and servicewomen is by giving back to the charities that are focused on veteran’s assistance,” restaurant co-owner Cathleen Holland said.
