Norwich Diocese names interim executive director of Catholic Charities
Norwich — The current director of finance for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Norwich Inc., Susan Connelly, has been named the organization's interim executive director.
Connelly will work in both capacities. She replaces Edward Tessman, who resigned from his position as executive director on Jan. 30 and accepted a position to work for the state of Connecticut. He had been executive director since January 2016.
Bishop Michael Cote thanked Tessman "for his outstanding service to Catholic charities," according to a diocese news release put out Tuesday.
The Catholic Charities board of directors has organized a search committee for the next director.
