12-year-old Long Islander Miriam Starobin credits "SpongeBob SquarePants" for helping her save her best friend. Starobin was in music class Tuesday when Allyson Golden choked on her gum, turned red and started kicking her legs. Miriam performed the Heimlich - just like SpongeBob when he got that clarinet out of Squidward's throat- and the gum popped out.
