Murtha Cullina Grants Holiday Wishes to Underprivileged Teens in New Haven

For the sixth year in a row, the Madison and New Haven offices of Murtha Cullina provided holiday gifts to teens in Youth Continuum Programs—and not just any gifts. The teens received items that were on their lists, including acoustic guitars, iPods, digital cameras, $100 gift cards, video games, and more. Youth Continuum is a non-profit agency providing counseling, group homes, transitional living, supportive housing, and educational programs to homeless youth in the Greater New Haven area.

This year, Murtha Cullina provided gifts for 14 teens in three of the organization’s group homes, and employees donated more than $2,500 worth of gifts. One attorney bought a suit, belt, tie, and two button-down shirts for a teen needing to go on job interviews. For a teen who has a passion for poetry, an employee purchased poetry books and journals. Another received a large, motorized model sailboat.
