    Sky rout Sun 77-61

    Mohegan — Epiphanny Prince scored a game-high 23 points with four assists and four rebounds as the Chicago Sky routed the Connecticut Sun 77-61 on Friday.

    Elena Delle Donne had 19 points and nine rebounds for Chicago (14-7) while Sylvia Fowles added 14 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

    Allison Hightower had a team-high 13 points for the Sun (6-14) and Kelsey Griffin had 12 rebounds and six rebounds.

    Tina Charles, the reigning WNBA MVP, missed 16 of 18 shots and finished with five points and 10 rebounds for the Sun.

    Chicago had a four-point lead late in the second quarter when it pulled away for good. Prince began a 12-0 run with back-to-back 3-pointers, and successive layups by Courtney Vandersloot pushed the Sky’s lead to 39-23 with less than two minutes left.
