Dunn talks about his PC debut (video)
Former New London High School All-American Kris Dunn was disappointed with his performance in his Providence College debut on Tuesday night.
When asked about a grade, Dunn gave himself a "D."
Yet there was a lot to like about Dunn's play.
Dunn, a reserve guard, tied a Friar freshmen record with 13 assists and also had seven points, six rebounds and four turnovers in 27 minutes in a 79-45 rout of Colgate at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence.
He agreed with PC coach Ed Cooley that his shooting performance (3-for-13) was "gross."
But, hey, it was Dunn's first basketball game since last winter. He had right shoulder surgery in July, forcing him to miss the first nine games.
I caught up with Dunn after the game and asked him a few questions. Check out the attached video.
