    NUMEROLOGIES

    Howdy,

William Tavares, El Sol's media relations manager, provided a wacky stat that he had the Elias Sports Bureau research.

Katie Douglas was the only Connecticut player to shoot free throws in Tuesday's 74-71 loss against San Antonio. Douglas made 4 of 7.

Tavares asked Elias to look up the most free throws ever attempted by a single player who attempted all her team's free throws in a game.

Turns out that Douglas is tied for third all-time since Aug. 1, 2002.

    THE LIST:

8: Natalie Williams, Utah at Sacramento, June 30, 2000.

8: Katie Smith, Minnesota vs. Sacramento, Aug. 4, 200.

7: Tari Phillips, New York at Cleveland, July 19, 2001.

7: Swin Cash, Detroit vs. Cleveland, Aug. 1, 2002.

7: Katie Douglas, Connecticut vs. San Antonio, July 1, 2014.

Chelsea Gray wrote her second blog for El Sol's website. Gray was the 11th overall pick in April's WNBA Draft despite dislocating her right kneecap on January 12. She's expected to join the team next season.

    HERE is said blog.
