    Terese Palmer

    Voluntown - Terese “Teri” Donna Brazitis Palmer, Cup of Tea Farm, Voluntown, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at the Orchard Grove Nursing Center, Uncasville.

    She was born Oct. 30, 1946, in Hartford. She was the daughter of the late Peter Joseph and Elvera (Krikscium) Brazitis. She was the wife of the late Llewellyn Palmer Jr. (Lew) who preceded her in 2001.

    She graduated from Manchester High School in 1964. Her early interest in horses resulted in participation in horse showing throughout her life, including English horse shows resulting in her achievements as a certified show judge. Her community activities were extensive.

    She leaves six children with her previous husbands. She also leaves her brothers, Peter F. (Rick) Brazitis and his family of Hansville, Wash., and Steven Brazitis of Ellensburg, Wash., as well as a large extended family. Special thanks to her stepson, Brian Palmer, and his family of Voluntown who has provided support for Teri in her repeated bouts with cancer.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in the Pendleton Hill Cemetery, North Stonington.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Southeastern CT, 227 Dunham St., Norwich, CT 06360.
