On Friday at the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts, Musical Masterworks resurrects its MMModern series with a performance by Vision Duo, the freshly original classical music act featuring percussionist Britton-René Collins and violinist Ariel Horowitz.

MMModern is an effort to present twice-yearly programs aimed at a younger and/or new audience from the regular calendar — and taking place as in-person school performances. The event starts with a 5:30 cocktails and hors d’oeuvres hour followed by Vision Duo’s concert, which should feature elements from their “Electrovision” program, blending acoustic, electronic and multidisciplinary elements.
