Two new exhibitions are on display at the Hygienic Art Gallery in New London.

“Inside Narrative and Storytelling” features works by Gallery One CT artists using a variety of styles including watercolor, printmaking, collage, photography and more. Each work represents the artist’s concept of “a journey,” and the show runs through April 20.

Also on display is “Stoimen Stoilov Redux,” a retrospective collection of paintings and lithographs by the noted Bulgarian artist whose ties to the local community originated through his friendship with the late poet William Meredith.

“Redux” was curated by Meredith’s partner Richard Harteis along with Johnes Ruta, and runs through April 30.

The Hygienic is located at 79 Bank St., New London. Admission is free. Hours are noon-7 p.m. Thurs.-Sat. and noon-4 p.m. Sun. Visit hygienic.org.
