"Mad Men," the television series about Sterling Cooper, a trend-setting Madison Avenue advertising agency in the industry's '60s heyday, lasted seven seasons. Sterling Cooper might still be around and thriving if one of their copywriting wizards had come up with a tagline like "The Wonder of the Cocktail." It says it all, doesn't it?

From Wednesday through Friday at various sites on the Foxwoods property, a multi-faceted festival called "The Wonder of the Cocktail" shall pour forth fun like a Sunday morning pitcher of Bloody Marys. Guests have the opportunity to taste a global variety of the finest spirits, wines and culinary delights in a variety of event packages that include seminars, a kick-off cocktail party, a pool party, sundry chef tastings.

Costs are $55 for seminars, $75 private chef dine-around, $35 pool party, $100-$125 Grand Tasting, $145 cocktail package, $255 party package, $320 Wonder Package.
