Art blooms like weeds in my yard! Only, in the “Spring in the Stone Gallery” show, an exhibition opening with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Maple & Main Gallery in Chester, there are no weeds — only uplifting works from 10 visionaries in the Shoreline Artists’ Workshop. Participating from six shoreline communities are Beverly Ahlers, Cathy Castonguay, JoAnn Dongweck, Keiko Kaiser, Elin Larson, Shirley McHale, Hilde Reichenbach, Susan Simler (whose “French Lace” is shown here), Cheryl Sorensen and Sharol Stewart.
