Protest songs have a time-honored position in musical and cultural history. In that spirit, several area musicians will gather Friday in New London to present “Songs of Hope and Resistance” at All Souls UU Congregation.

The concert, which features event co-organizers Ben and Nancy Parent along with Hugh Birdsall, Golden Ratio, Anna May Thompson, AreleneWow!, Sandy Allen, Paul and Cathy Carolan, Geoff Kaufman and more, is designed to motivate and inspire after the recent Presidential election.
