Thames River Gallery in New London will be hosting a Holiday Market from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The gallery and all exhibiting artists will donate 10 percent of all sales for this event and sales through Christmas Eve to the New London Fire Fighters Union 1522 Toy Drive, with the toys going to children in need. The gallery will also collect unwrapped toys for donation at the door.

Light refreshments, including eggnog, hot chocolate, chilled Prosecco, and homemade Christmas cookies, will be served at the event.

The gallery’s “Poetry in Art: A Tapestry Woven of Mixed Media” exhibit will be on display, featuring 10 artists: Thomas Adkins; Gwen Basilica; Nina Fuller; Alison C. Ives; Lisa Miceli; TR Mockler; Brechin Morgan; Dominic Moriarty; Howard Park; Susan Van Winkle.

Additionally, The ANNEX, an inclusive collective of local artists, has been invited to include their unique creations at the event.

Vocalist Lisa Marien and Friends will perform a medley of Christmas tunes from noon to 2 p.m.
