Food tip: Namoo Korean Eatery, Norwich
Food tip
Namoo Korean Eatery
289 Main St., Norwich
I stopped in for dinner at Namoo before seeing a show in Norwich recently and was so glad I did. Based on the crowd that night, it’s got plentiful and devoted fans — and no wonder. Good food, pleasant waitstaff, small, casual interior. I had the Bibimbap with chicken (white rice with seasoned zucchini, carrots, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, for $12.95) and an appetizer of Mama O’s Yaki Mandu (handmade fried dumplings filled with beef, vegetables and glass noodles ($7.50). I tried a bit of the veggie pancake (pan-fried zucchini, onion and scallion tempura pancakes with dipping sauce, $7.95) that a friend got. All were might tasty.
