In need of some R&R? You can’t do better than spending the day at The Spa at Norwich Inn.

You change into the fluffy robe and spa slippers the venue provides you and wander around the very Zen interior. You can choose to get a massage or a facial or just chill by the indoor pool. Or maybe you'd prefer spending time in the sauna, steam room or hot tub. Among the other options: getting pampered in the salon or getting a good workout in fitness classes.

There are spa packages but also individual offerings, like a Rapid Radiance Facial for $65, or a 50-minute deep tissue massage for $150.

The spa offers food and a juice bar, and there’s the very good restaurant, Kensington’s, at the Inn. You can have a meal there whether or not you are going to the spa.

The Spa at Norwich Inn, 607 West Thames St, Norwich; open 24 hours; there is a $20 daily spa admission fee for non-resort guests getting the spa services; (860) 425-3500; for reservations: 1-800-ASK-4-SPA (800-275-4772).
