NEIGHBORHOOD FINDS: Consignment luxuries
Fur Wrap, $189
Clock, $25
Although I've had my share of leather coats, I've never been a fan of fur. Yeah, it's pretty, and soft, and warm, but for some reason it's never been my thing. As of now, I've officially switched teams. This fur wrap nearly jumped into my arms and it took a great deal of will power not to walk out the door with it. Those people at the Aurore Boucher Furrier & Fur Designer (Springfield, Mass.) really know what they're doing.
Whenever I'm invited to a party, especially during the holidays, I like to bring the host/hostess something special. You can't go wrong with a bottle of wine or a small decoration for the tree, but I'm really feeling this clock. I can imagine it on a mantel or side table, and is an item that definitely would be a conversation starter.

Dress, $18
Pendant and Earrings, $8
Searching for the perfect gift at regional consignment shops was surprisingly easy. Within minutes, I found this stunning black lace dress that comes with a nude slip underneath. Two ribbons crisscross underneath the breast bone and the hem falls just past the knee.
And what would a stunning dress be without equally amazing jewelry?

Purse, $44.99
The best thing about this handbag -- besides the amazing color, double straps and silver embellishments – is the price. Forty-five bucks isn't bad for an item you can get a lot of use out of, but on Dec. 1, the tag is slashed by nine bucks. Wait another four weeks, and it goes down another nine bucks. And if you can hold out until the end of January (and if the bag is still there!), you can walk away with a nice gift for only $22.50. Not bad at all.
