Caitlin Daly writes a weekly blog, "Well I Never!" that details her attempts to do or try something new at least once a week. No experience is too small, strange or insignificant. Daly blogs about everything from making almond milk, attending a Jewish naming ceremony, and not talking for 48 hours, to ice fishing and eating a whole, raw jalapeno. I think it was a pianist playing Tchaikovsky's first piano concerto.

Everybody I've ever met would be invited, and it would be a potluck.

I bought two at the same time from Strawberries (cassettes!): “CrazySexyCool” by TLC and “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” by Smashing Pumpkins

What do you sing in the shower?

Terrible renditions of 90s rock.

My computer. I take it everywhere.

The empty shampoo bottle in my shower.

“Don't Worry, Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin.

What’s the last televison show you binge-watched?

“The Golden Girls.” I own all seven seasons on DVD.

What “new thing” from your blog have you done the most since the first time?

Besides trying not to judge people, I think that the only one that I've continued consistently is hosting trivia for TriviAcademy. I host Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at On The Rocks at the Fox Hopyard Golf Club. It was definitely one of my most terrifying firsts, but it has ended up being super fun!

If you present day you could give advice to younger you, what would it be?

No need to rush anything! And stop caring about what other people think.

I always read more than one at a time, so they were Frank McCourt's "Teacher Man" and Gretchen Rubin's "The Happiness Project."

Lascivious.

“Julie & Julia” - there's this whole life that happens to the blogger that the audience doesn't get to see.

What’s the best town or city that starts with the word “new?”

New Hartford - I work at Laurel Music Camp every summer and that's where it's located.

Tea, please!

Saturday night's fun but Sunday morning's crosswords.

Palindromes.

What is your pet peeve?

People who walk loudly.

What historical event would you like to have witnessed?

The exact instant that Lewis and Clark set eyes on the Pacific Ocean.

What is your favorite place in Connecticut to recharge and/or find serenity?

Two places: Laurel Music Camp and South Beach in Black Point, Niantic.

The person alive today you most admire is:

The Dalai Lama. I first saw him when I was traveling through India and was struck by how light-hearted he is, even with so much responsibility resting on his shoulders and after all that has happened to his land and people. I've seen him twice since then, which I think gives me "groupie" status.
