Where to park: Trailhead is located on the north side of Gold Star Highway, just west of the intersection with Lambtown Rd. Parking is down a driveway between two residences, look for the mailbox painted with a GOSA sign. Trails can also be accessed from Larchmont Terrace, Barton Lane and Lambtown Rd.
Description: 91 acres of land with a blue-blazed trail running north-south over the ridge, and a red-blazed trail looping through the woods to the west. Trails connect to the Avery Farm Nature Preserve to the north.
Natural features: A large area in the middle of the parcel is undergoing habitat restoration, establishing a young for for species like the New England cottontail. There are several large glacial erratics - boulders left by retreating ice sheets.
