Get people wasted for more casino cash, brilliant!
Now that Massachusetts has agreed to conspire with the operators of MGM Grand Casino to extract from tipsy gamblers the last of their dwindling funds by extending by two hours the time that they can be served free alcoholic beverages, Connecticut casinos want in on the action. But why stop with a few more free drinks between two and four in the morning? After all, Massachusetts has legalized marijuana, and Connecticut appears to be on the verge of the same action, so why not allow the casinos to offer a few tokes to active gamblers while they are relieving them of their money deep into the night. And after such a high time, the gamblers can go off to their cars, giggling and munching on a (perhaps comped) bag of cookies as they share the highways with the rest of us. Totally worth the enhanced revenue, don't you think?
