Attitude makes Kepple best Probate pick

During what can be contentious times around elections, I think it is important to consider how fortunate we are that we have a number of citizens who are driven to run for office because they are truly looking to serve their communities.

In the race for Probate judge, we have two excellent candidates. Given that this is likely the final time Nicholas Kepple will run for this office, I wanted to share a story. Running for office can be an intimidating feat, but as a first-time potential candidate who does not belong to either party, it can seem impossible. However, from the first time I shared my own aspirations for running for a local board with Kepple, he helped mentor me through the process.

He was bipartisan in nature and gave thoughtful consideration to my, at times, boundless series of questions. In my interactions since this time, I continue to be inspired by his altruistic nature and willingness to provide counsel on a range of topics to various members of our community. With decades of experience he has shown a dedication to serving and I believe he will continue to bring this focus on public service to his work as Probate judge.
