Is Trump serving Russia? Facts suggest that is the case

Question du jour: Is President Trump a Kremlin agent? Who can say? But a brief review traces presidential performance that closely accords with known Kremlin goals.

From the beginning, the president has demeaned American media as “the fake news media," which is not his enemy, but "the enemy of the American people!”

He has insistently delegitimized the judiciary, “the 9th Circuit is a complete disaster. Judges … are making our country unsafe.”

The President has worked tirelessly to undermine the FBI: “I was able to ... expose something that is truly a cancer in our country.”

He has insulted U.S. Intelligence, "I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but … President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial."

Trump has made war on the Department of Justice, ultimately firing the attorney general: “Why is A.G. Jeff Sessions asking the Inspector General to investigate? DISGRACEFUL!”

And Trump partially closed the government, “I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck.”

Whether he is acting wittingly or unwittingly I think these actions and others make him an agent functioning solely to the benefit of Russia and to the disadvantage of the United States.
