Provide proportional allocation of Connecticut's electoral votes

The Day is right to oppose the Popular Vote Compact. The compact provides just another way to disenfranchise Connecticut voters. The current "winner take all" allocation of Connecticut's electoral votes typically leaves 39-45 percent of the electorate unrepresented in national elections. The compact could disenfranchise an even larger number.

What would be even more representative than the compact would be proportional allocation of Connecticut's electoral votes. With its seven votes, Connecticut could allocate them to the nearest 14.3 percent (i.e., one seventh), rounding up for the winner, providing better representation for Connecticut voters than winner-take-all or the compact.

Vote for better representation. Dump winner take all and the compact. Support proportional allocation of Connecticut's electoral votes.
