Congress needs to think of Americans first

About two months ago an article ran in The Day, about infants, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly who are poor, hungry, homeless, no medical care, no money for prescriptions, and they are dying because of these conditions. Then I realized the article was about illegals, not our American citizens. That's because our democratic, liberals and bleeding hearts, can no longer see the needs of the American citizen. Coming here illegally, you have already committed a crime. The illegals' children are taken away from their parents; well, when parents here commit a crime and go to jail, their children are taken away too. The picture in the paper displaying the Holy Family in cages, was a poor example of a church to display. People protest for the illegals but not for those people who are U.S. citizens in dire need. A lot of Congress wants us to "do as I say, but not what I do." What they are "saying" is "I hate anything that President Trump tries to do and veto it. But not what I do," which is simple, they have done nothing. Our citizens need Congress to think of us first.
