Voting will take place in a few weeks. Now is the perfect time to schedule a few events that allow our residents to learn more about those running for public office. I challenge my fellow candidates to join me in forums and debates, so our residents have a chance to hear us all talk side by side about our vision for New London’s future.

In order to have forums and debates, we will need sponsors. I’m hopeful that The Day, The League of Women Voters, the NAACP, the Neighborhood Alliance, Centro de la Comunidad, the Lee Elci Show, New London Landmarks, and others will once again provide the opportunity for candidates to debate the issues facing New London.

I look forward to debating my opponents, Mayor Michael Passero and Frida Berrigan.
