Mayor McDaniel is the obvious choice to lead Montville
I am glad Ron McDaniel is running for mayor of Montville again. His education and experience make him the best qualified candidate. Ron possesses verbal, written and listening skills sorely lacking in his opponent, who has not demonstrated the knowledge and skills necessary to manage the town.
Ron is steadfast, able to make difficult decisions, and gets the job done with integrity. He understands how government works and the importance of collaboration. He has served the town faithfully for the right reasons, not seeking praise and glory. His motivation is for the betterment of Montville, not because of anger and personal agendas.
Public service is not about an individual having a title and wielding power or getting revenge. It is about the people that are served. The mayor is the public face and voice of the community. And that public face and voice should remain Ron McDaniel.
