I want to go on record as endorsing state Rep. Kathleen McCarty for re-election in the 38th General Assembly District. Kathleen has worked effectively in the legislature for six years proudly representing Montville and Waterford.

She currently is a member of the Education Committee as well as serving on the Appropriations and Public Health committees.

I have known Kathleen for some time now. She is a strong woman who holds strong family values and a world view that mirrors that of most of the constituents in our district. As a state representative she has effectively and will continue to represent the people of our district honorably and ensure that our voice is heard in the state capitol.

Representative McCarty has the common-sense approach and drive needed to continue to make a difference in the futures of Montville and Waterford. I believe she is the person best qualified to continue to represent the 38th district.
