Day editorial attack unfair to Cheeseman
It has been a while since I have written a letter, but your editorial, “Trump’s misbehavior is no laughing matter,” (Nov. 16), requires engagement. More importantly, Rep. Holly Cheeseman deserves support in the face of such drooling bullies as your Editorial Board.
Cheeseman contributed a well thought out piece to our newspaper that asks many superb questions about important matters. Your long-winded four-column editorial rant looms at the top of the page above her piece like a bully picking on a young kid who just moved to town. It was shameful.
Your disconnected thoughts ramble on detailing your hate for President Trump and in general all things "Republican," but your parting stomp on a superb state representative cannot be ignored. Your apparently overarching goal was to personally pick on a strong and capable woman who was duly elected (again) by the people of the 37th District.
Your temper tantrum and fixated bullying cannot be ignored. It is shameful.
In reality, I do not expect much better of you. Sadly, such behavior is becoming a pattern. I hope (but doubt) that you will reflect upon this.
