Biden's Saudi shift

President Biden is reversing former President Trump's cozy, protective relationship with the Saudi government and son-in-law Jarred Kushner's close, personal friendship with Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The long-awaited U.S. intelligence report on the brutal murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi implicates Prince Mohammad, King Salman's son, in ordering the brutal murder of Khashoggi. Jarred Kushner aided Prince MBS's denial of involvement.

During his campaign, President-elect Biden called Saudi Arabia "a pariah." Hopefully, President Biden will continue his punishment of Saudi Arabia by suspending all sales of U.S. military hardware and imposing financial sanctions on the kingdom.
