    Scrap the USS Nautilus

Sorry but I think the $36 million preservation of the U.S.S. Nautilus is a waste of money, not to mention the likely cost overruns. Recycle the Nautilus — scrap it. It has served its purpose. There is a world-wide shortage of steel, and it is affecting many businesses in this country. Where are you good Christians on this issue? Remember "beat your swords into ploughshares?” I also seriously doubt the Nautilus is the big tourist attraction as mentioned. The much less expensive virtual tour seems the way to go, especially for younger people. This would prevent them from bumping their heads on the doors and hatches of the Nautilus while glued to their smartphones. We are entering some rough seas in this country and spending huge sums of money on nonessential projects is not going to keep us afloat during the stormy weather. There are more beneficial ways to spend $36 million.
