Last month I had the pleasure of meeting Erica Moser when she covered a Ledge Light Health District pop-up vaccination clinic for The Day. She asked questions with a gentle inquisitiveness that made answering them comfortable and fun. Present for most of the clinic, Moser was a joy to all who interacted with her. Since then, while I admit I rarely read the news reporter's name associated with articles, I have been searching out and reading her articles with interest. They are articulate and informative and cover a variety of topics — from local bakers to state and national health issues to events at the Coast Guard Academy. When I decided to thank the editors for adding her to their excellent reporting staff, I looked her up and was amazed to find she only just began at the newspaper this past June. Thank you and please thank herr for her thoughtful news coverage.
