Don't miss debate say WHS students

We are students in Brett Arnold's Civics classes at Waterford High School. This evening -- Thursday, Oct. 22 -- starting at 7 p.m. in the Waterford High School Auditorium, our classes in cooperation with the League of Women Voters of Southeastern Connecticut and The Day newspaper will be sponsoring the first selectman debate for the Town of Waterford.

We believe this is an important event for our community and encourage you to attend to learn about the issues.

We are grateful to the League of Women Voters for assisting us in understanding our responsibility as active citizens in our democracy. We are looking forward to attending the debate and we hope to see you here this evening.
