So everyone seems amazed by the Brexit vote, but the long and short of why it happened is the politicians forgot who their constituents really are. Just like what happened in Great Britain, the U.S. faces its own revolution. Why? It is simply this, the voting public is feeling betrayed by our government, Congress, the Senate and president acting in total disregard of what their constituents want or is arguably in their interests.

The millions of illegal aliens are here at best in violation of law and do not provide anything of consequence to legal citizens needs, wants and demands, so why are our legislators and our president pandering to them? And, further, why are they pandering to big business with free-trade deals and legislation that does little but send our work and money overseas?

Wake up Washington! Your constituents are the citizens of the United States, not illegal aliens, not big business, not foreign governments and not the U.N. This is the overriding reason Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump surprised you and the political pundits. Remember who you owe your allegiance to − American voters!
