The Parks and Recreation Department of Groton should be embarrassed at not having been prepared at Eastern Point Beach for the hundreds of beach goers. When the beach season opened the porta-potty was disgusting and unhealthy for anyone to use. Would it have been too difficult to have opened the bathrooms for the public's use? Many people left early because of this situation. Eastern Point Beach is a beautiful resource for the community and should be treated with respect and pride.
