The Nov. 6 midterm elections are around the corner. We have already suffered through “battleground primaries” all over the country and continuous fights for power between the “red” and “blue.”

Let’s end the warlike vocabulary in U.S. politics. Both major parties have been entrenched too long! It’s time to excavate the sewer lines so fresh, original thoughts and ideas can flow again. As long as there is any third party choice for any elected position, vote for him or her. Don’t vote for any Democrat or Republican – no matter how “qualified” they are! It’s time to pave the way for independent voices and show the major parties (and their corporate benefactors) the highway. Power to the people!
