Should you counter with empirical evidence or facts? Nope, use ridicule and name calling to demean the individual, not their argument...check.

Make sure to say how bigoted, uneducated, and mean spirited (i.e. deplorable) he is. All the while make sure to show everyone how intelligent, well educated, and sophisticated you are...check.

Lastly, and most importantly, make sure to demand that they be isolated and silenced so their backward-thinking thought crimes do not go unpunished...check.
