Reader wants to make several points

    1. Republicans should quit mourning the punishment Paul Manafort received. He alone was working for a pro-Russian Ukrainian group before he worked for President Trump, trying to destroy an independent free nation.

    2. The news media keeps talking about the increase in sexual misbehavior incidents at the Coast Guard Academy as well as other military academies. I have yet to see if these are just an increase in complaints or convictions under the uniformed code of military justice? There is a big difference because military members are reporting what they think are valid complaints. The most certain way to stop sexual assault behavior is to make it a "career ender" for conviction of failure to report or falsely reporting.

    3. Senator Looney's plan to merge Connecticut's inner-city and suburban school districts is well - looney!

    4. It's too early to tell but, I am betting that there is much voter’s remorse over the election of our Gov. Ned Lamont. It seems you can't trust rich Democrats any more than you can trust rich Republicans.

    5. Lastly, I would like to recognize the radical Democrats in advance of the 2020 elections. I believe they are actually going to save this republic.
