I strongly recommend Katrina Fitzgerald for Groton Board of Education. Katrina is dedicated to advocating for all of Groton’s children.

She served previously on the Board of Ed and is well versed on how the Board of Ed and the school system work together to bring the best education to all Groton students.

Katrina is fascinated about how students learn and is a strong advocate for the learning process. She is very community minded, organized, thoughtful and fact based.

Even before serving on the Board of Education, she was an active member of PTOs and the Fitch Parent Council. She participated in Fitch's accreditation process and the administrative hiring processes for both former Superintendent Mike Graner and retired principal Joe Arcarese.

While on the Board of Education, she was on the exploratory committee charged with bringing the IB program to the middle school.
