    Our integrated world

June 30 and the half year ends with 2022 no better than it began. "AP poll: Gloom swells around Biden" detailing "85% of U.S. adults say the country is on the wrong track,“ 79% say poor economy, 3.6% unemployment rate notwithstanding.

Just as Time's "Man of the Year" self-corrected to "Person of the Year," the world is too integrated for this country question to have much meaning. Is this world on the right track?

Russia's Ukraine invasion has exploded energy and food costs, skyrocketing inflation all over the world. Climate change, a worldwide pandemic, immigration at the border and a rogue SCOTUS on track to reinstate the Confederacy, combine to make the "country on the wrong track" question obsolete.
