    GOP Senators ignored veterans’ needs

I am writing to inform our veterans of the U.S. Senators who voted against the Burn Pits Toxics Act. The vote was 84-11 in passing. The media never tells who voted against a bill which I believe is important to the voters in evaluating their politician. Accordingly, I have listed the senators who voted against the bill.

As a registered Republican, I am sad to say they all were Republicans. Of the 11, I was surprised not seeing Senators Cruz and Daines on the list, since both were on TV fist bumping on celebrating defeating the bill previously. Like career politicians they are not going to bite the hand (veterans) that vote for them.

Here are the senators who voted against the bill and the state they represented. Senator Crapo (ID), Lankford (OK), Lee (UT), Lummis (WY), Paul (KY), Risch (ID), Romney (UT), Shelby (AL), Tillis (NC), Toomey (PA), and Tuberville (AL).
