In response to Mike Zito’s letter, “Vindman spreads hate,” (Sept. 25), all I can say is BS. The testimony Vindman gave has been proven to be honest and not a tale. It was proven to be true by the recording of the conversation between Trump and the president of Ukraine. And, later when Trump admitted he did say what was recorded. Vindman did not spread hate at Conn College he presented factual information he had formulated at his job (position).

As a career/retired military officer and Republican, I gave an oath to serve and protect our democracy not to a political party. I believe Vindman felt the same way when he gave his testimony. Mr. Zito is incorrect in stating “obviously a career yes man.” Military personnel response to an order is “yes sir.” Obviously, Mr. Zito was never in the military.
