As a long-time registered Democrat in East Lyme, I am writing to enthusiastically endorse the reelection of Holly Cheeseman as our state representative.

Holly has been an outstanding legislator for us in a number of ways. Along with Sen. Formica and Rep. McCarty, Holly was instrumental in ensuring through legislation that close to 1,500 jobs would be saved at Millstone, and that the power produced there could be sold to Eversource, which has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in savings to ratepayers.

In addition, I consider Holly to be a super star in the area of constituent services. I have heard time and again from fellow townspeople how Holly has successfully advocated for their issue, concern or problem, regardless of one's party. Also, she seems to be everywhere! If there is an event in the 37th District, you can bet Holly will be in attendance to support it, and also make herself available to her constituents.

We have one of the best in Holly Cheeseman. Please join me in helping her get reelected on Nov. 8.
