A candidate knocked on her door

I first met Nick Gauthier when he came knocking at my door like an old-school politician, introducing himself by going door to door, which impressed me right away. Then he asked what was important to me. I told him - the environment, a sense of community, and being able to earn a living wage despite the the rise in costs of pretty much everything needed to survive. Nick listened and answered tons of questions, and what he couldn't answer he later reached out with information.

I agree with his core beliefs of fighting for what is right and what makes good sense for working families. He takes a common sense approach to gun control and to women's rights, which is important to me. I'm registered as Independent, so I vote for what makes sense to me and not just the party line. I've had several positive interactions with Nick since his first visit, all of which have really impressed me as a Waterford resident. Nick's passion for supporting the working class families shines through in his actions, not just in his words. Nick Gauthier has my vote for state Representative.
