If the Founding Fathers had not intended it ONLY for militia, the 2nd amendment would read: "The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." But even if you read it that way, it does not say we have a right to bear military weapons or handguns; textualists are hypocrites. They interpret it to mean ALL GUNS, when it is not written in black and white.

So consider: 1. The only purpose of handguns is to kill humans; ergo they are evil; ban sale and confiscate all handguns. 2. All weapons firing more than five rounds before reloading should be confiscated to give us all - including those who do not have guns - a fighting chance. 3. Long guns firing five or fewer rounds should be legal. 4. Semiautomatic weapons should be available for sport-shooting in monitored, controlled settings. 5. No civilian under 25 years (i.e. under-developed brain) should be permitted to have a firearm. 6. Violent criminals should lose the right to bear any arms. 7. Adults whose firearms are used by those under age 25 to harm others should be criminally liable.
