“Wow” seems to be the best commentary/answer from Trump-obsessed David Collins in his latest diatribe. (“Connecticut Republicans Defend Trump,” March 25.)

He just does not seem to get that whatever he and his Democrat buddies have thrown at Mr. Trump will not hold any promise of stopping him. If they had just worked with his administration during his tenure instead of inventing chaos, his policies would have worked even better. And Covid would not have taken a back seat to fictional collusion.

We would not be at each other’s throats today but for unfounded conspiracies and encouraging pink hat protests and worse. The unending beating of a dead horse has now brought the horse back to life. What is happening now is just as much on Collins and his like-minded brethren as on anything coming out of Trump’s mouth.
