    Columnist’s ‘hit piece’ in disguise

I would like to compliment The Day for publishing the excruciating partisan screeching of Bill Stanley. His laughable column, opining for mythic days of objectivity, is little more than a disguised hit piece on anyone who disagrees with the GOP party line.

Stanley starts by pointing out that Fox slavers over attempted-dictator Trump yet somehow says that CNN allowing Trump to insult one of his many sexual assault victims on air is equivlent liberal bias. (“Right or left, the media doesn’t hide its bias,” June 5). How . . . moderate of Mr. Stanley.

His next evidence is the fabled "Hunter Biden laptop," a story so clearly stitched of innuendo and supposition that Fox News refused to run the story before the election due to legal concerns. The same Fox who lost nearly a billion dollars pushing election lies in service of an attempted coup barely weeks later. He displays his bias and\or ignorance by claiming there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, despite the multiple criminal charges and convictions that are tied directly to the Mueller Investigation. Mr. Stanley’s equivalent example of liberal bias? In 1998, people weren't mean enough to Bill Clinton.
